NASA is an independent space agency of the US government whose primary focus is research in the field of technology related to space and air. 

NASA was established on October 1st 1958 and is also accredited for sending the first satellite to space called Explorer 1. Neil Armstrong the first man who set foot on the moon was an astronaut from NASA.

This agency is located at the NASA headquarters, in Washington, D.C, USA.

How can I join NASA?

NASA generally prefers applicants having a university degree or especially those who have military experience and background in military field. Also degrees in science and Mathematics is required. Trained test pilots are sometimes hired without having any military background.
